The role of Senior Systems Analyst, Financial Reporting, is focused on delivery of key reporting initiatives, leading delivery of finance reporting, innovation and exploring modern technologies to suit reporting needs. This position will utilize a combination of SAP BW/HANA, BW4HANA and advanced data analytics with an Agile approach and a Continuous Delivery philosophy. Position
Responsibilities:
Understand business requirements or issues, perform gap analysis in the finance reporting and forecasting environment and recommend/implement process and/or technology improvements to modernize and optimize current reporting environment. Create or lead creation of functional and technical specifications. Specifications will detail out business description of change and describe exactly what is changing in the system at a technical object level. Lead the development , testing and implementation phases for Reporting Changes within the SAP BW/HANA and BW4HANA environments Analyze SAP financial data based on functional issues/opportunities raised by business partners and lead the support team to resolution. Will require utilization of:
SAP BW transactions like RSA1, Listcube, Etc. to analyze data and ETL issues Ensures health of Financial Reporting service, via collaboration and alignment with support team and management alike. Functional and Technical ownership of the Financial Reporting end user reporting environment- Data models, Bex Reports, Analysis for Office forecasting templates and dashboards. Oversee development of Data models, ETLs, Reports and forecasting templates. Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Computer Science/Engineering/MIS/Finance preferred. 5
year experience in an Information Technology role or equivalent. Hands on experience supporting and delivering enterprise reports in the SAP BW domain Excellent knowledge of SAP BW HANA/BW4HANA data modeling and ETL concepts. Experience supporting financial reporting and forecasting process within SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting SQL code-HANA SQL preferred.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate Finance, Risk & Quantitative AnalysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
